APTA MN Chapter Award – Krystene Berry Adou
Krystene Berry Adou from Monarch Healthcare Management received the “Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant Award” for 2026. She was nominated by Holly Clynch and Jessica Scholl. Krystene has been committed to access and support for students underrepresented in physical therapy.

Callen Maupin
Callen Maupin from the Rehabilitation Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Minnesota presented at the APTA Minnesota in Motion Annual Conference. His topic was “The Core of Movement: Trunk Control in Balance, Posture, and Rehabilitation.”

Sharon Kimble
Sharon Kimble from the University of Minnesota PT Program presented at the APTA Minnesota in Motion Annual Conference. She presented “Be a Super Hear’o: Amplified Care of the Patient with Age Related Hearing Loss.” Sharon is the Director of the U of M’s Physical Therapy Geriatric Residency Program.
