APTA MN Chapter Award
Krystene Berry Adou from Monarch Healthcare Management received the “Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant Award” for 2026. She was nominated by Holly Clynch and Jessica Scholl. Krystene has been committed to access and support for students underrepresented in physical therapy. As part of her final MBA project, she worked to identify some of the barriers that students from underrepresented populations face while planning for and/or participating in physical therapy education. Krystene has been a member of St. Catherine University PTA Program Community Advisory committee and consultant on course content related to medical racism.
