Allie Smith from the University of MN Physical Therapy Program presented at the 3rd Annual “Curiosity Conference. She presented “Your Advocacy Muscles are Atrophying!” Allie discussed the idea that most problems and issues facing PT’s are systemic and structural, and require advocacy to make real change.
Allie is Board-Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. She serves as the Co-Chair of the State Government Affairs Committee and Federal Affairs Liaison for APTA’s Academy of Education.
