Justin Staker from the University of Minnesota PT Program along with students Abigail Hockbein and Ulyses Perez, presented a Platform at the APTA CSM Meeting in Anaheim.  Their topic was “The Complex Relationship Between Shoulder Laxity and Dynamic Stability in Division I Swimmers and Divers.”  They concluded that static laxity tests may not reflect functional closed-chain shoulder stability.

Assisting on the research project were Jonathan Washatka from TRIA Physical Therapy in Burnesville and students Ally Johnson, Yan Ng, and Benjamin Hauge.

Justin is Board Certified as a Sports Clinical Specialist.
