Emily Kahnert from the TMD, Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine Clinic at the U of MN School of Dentistry presented a Poster at the APTA CSM Meeting in Anneheim. “Movement System Diagnosis Is Reliable to Classify Temporomandibular Disorders.” She found that a movement system classification system is a reliable tool to be used in PT assessment of patients with orofacial pain.
Emily is Board Certified as Cervical and Temporomandibular Clinical Specialist. She is currently part of the TMD Clinical Practice Guideline workgroup. Presenting with Emily was 3rd year U of MN student Kaleigh Santmyer.
