Brittany Johnson from the University of North Dakota Physical Therapy Program presented at the APTA Minnesota in Motion Annual Conference. Her topic was “Bridging Healing and Understanding: Trauma-Informed Practices in PT.” She presented foundational knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) and how TIC can be implemented in PT practice and education.
Brittany obtained her DPT from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and is currently pursuing her PhD at UND in Education, Health, and Behavior Studies with a focus on Kinesiology.
