Jane Hein and Adam Bridwell from the Mayo Clinic presented at the APTA Minnesota in Motion Annual Conference on “Movement Matters: Remote Delivery of Exercise Programming in an Acute Care Setting.” They discussed the iterative user-centered approach devised to enhance mobility opportunities for acute care patients with exercise sessions that were delivered virtually using remote communication systems with guidance provided by televised videos demonstrating supine or seated exercises.
Adam is the Lead Inpatient Oncology and Lymphedema Therapist and is also Board Certified as a Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Specialist.
Jane has extensive experience in acute care PT and has served as an integrative and wellness subject matter expert on several federally funded randomized controlled clinical trials. She also presented last October at the ACRM Conference in Chicago on “Cancer Pain Management”.
