APTA MN Day On The Hill

March 5, 2026; 8:45 am

APTA MN’s Day on the Hill is one of our signature events – our best chance to ensure that our voices are heard in St. Paul.  Without YOU, it simply doesn’t work.  Legislators hearing from constituents is what matters in state government.  Please mark your calendar and fill out the simple form at the bottom of this page to save your place.  We’ll schedule our appointments and ensure that you are prepared to speak about the issues in play at the State Capitol.

How can I prepare for my meetings?

Post event follow up resources

Minnesota Legislature Website

The Minnesota Legislature website, linked here, is a very helpful resource. You can simply plug in your address and the names of your state Senator and Representative will pop up. By clicking on their name, you will see a photo, phone number, office number, and more. We highly recommend pulling up a photo of your Senator and/or Representative ahead of time, especially if your meeting is scheduled for a high traffic area like the cafeteria.

Social Media

  • Before leaving your meetings, take a photo with your legislator.
    • Post to social media! #PTDayontheHill #MNLeg @MNAPTA
    • Be sure to tag your legislator as well
